We breed to promote and preserve the Shetland Sheepdog breed per our National Associations exacting guidelines. From time to time we have puppies that do not meet the specifications to carry on as a breeding/show dog. At these times we must place these puppies as companion animals. The dogs listed here are available to loving homes where they can fulfill their calling as companions. Our puppies are loved first and foremost, They are the product of many tears of efforts to produce happy, healthy representatives of the breed. We have bred ASSA National winners, all breed Best In Show dogs, dogs that have excelled and shown their virtues in agility, obedience, herding and many other venues. Our dogs have that special temperament that fits easily into your lifestyle, The type of dogs that you will love and cherish for many years to come. Safe with all children, they have a solid temperament that can always be trusted, with high intelligence, eagerness to please, and a joy of life and family. They are agile and well built with standard correct bodies, that are built to do the work their breed was meant to do. Of course we breed for the conformation ring and strive for the ideal, but the bigger picture of a happy healthy dog is of utmost importance. Since we take time to determine what home is best for the puppies we breed, many are not available for show or for pets till they are older in age. We do not always sell puppies at 8 weeks, we may make them available at 3 months, 4 months, 5 months etc, instead. The additional time, ensures that we care to make sure that you get the puppy that is exactly what you want, we care where our puppies go. These puppies may not be showable due to size, bite, or coloring but they are every bit champions in their role as companions. Things to Know

All dogs available from our kennel are sold to approved homes only; We reserve the right to choose what home is best for our dog. The welfare of our puppies is of highest importance. Puppies will not be held before purchase, all dogs are available until sold.  References will be asked for and checked, no puppy will be sold sight unseen. We must meet you to adopt one of our puppies. It is very important for us to develop a good relationship with our puppy buyers and we feel that coming and meeting our dogs in person allows you to get to know us better and the type of home that your puppy has been raised in. We hope that you will come back to us like many have for a second or third dog.

Covid-19 Update:
To help all of you with this pandemic, we have started a service to allow for a safe contactless experience for yourself and your new puppy. If you are wanting to purchase a puppy from us but are unable to travel as needed, we have found a way to offer a transport service, as follows: My husband will make the drive within the US for $2.25 a mile, (calculated one way and included gas). If more than a 6 hour drive a hotel room fee is charged as well. This is a door to door service, straight from us to you, with interaction with the puppy throughout the travel time, potty breaks food, water and toy availability at all times and video or pictures available during travel. This option provides you a secure, familiar and safe option for you puppy where you can just stay home and have the puppy brought to you.
If you prefer to fly to pick up your furry friend we can meet you at the Columbus or Dayton International airports for $45 charge.

Our pet puppies are now available for $3000 for all colors except sables which are $3400, this is subject to change. Please check out our Sales Contract. By purchasing a dog from us you are attesting to have read the contract and agreeing to its content. Please feel free to ask any questions that you may have after reading the contract or when and how you would like it provided to you. A copy will be signed by all parties when puppy is purchased.

When you have chosen your puppy or dog and we have approved your home, a non refundable deposit of $200 will be due immediately to hold the dog if you cannot take him home that day. The balance would be due within a weeks time. This should be long enough to get the balance to us and make arrangements for pick up or delivery. This initial amount is deducted from the original price/total amount due and is meant as "good faith" for the final purchase. This will pertain to puppies of any age. If after placing the deposit the buyer does not follow through with the purchase of the dog within a weeks time, the deposit will be forfeited.

If you need us to keep your puppy or dog for an additional period of time before you can take him/her home ie, you are going on vacation, getting a fence finished, etc. We can keep the dog for up to 2 weeks at no charge provided that the dog is paid for in full by 8 weeks or if older than 8 weeks; when arrangements are made. This is provided on room and time available. Any additional days spent with us past two weeks will be charged $15 a day board and must be paid in full before taking delivery of dog. If the purchaser does not come back for the dog after 20 days from agreed upon time and no further agreements have been made the dog may be resold.

All puppies/dogs will come up-to-date on shots and if old enough on Iverhart Plus, Revolution, Heartguard or Interceptor Plus for heartworm prevention and Frontline or Advantage for flea and tick prevention. All dogs have had dew claws removed shortly after birth and are raised in our home with our 2 children, where they are held constantly and accustomed to familiar noises. We take great pride in their health and happiness and feel that you will clearly see it when you meet them. When we place our puppies much thought and years of experience has gone into the proper breedings to produce the best possible puppies and then great care in finding them the best possible homes. All dogs will leave with a packet of information, AKC registration form, health certificate with shot records, micro-chip and registration info, vet check, signed contract, food, and familiar toy. We are here at any time to answer your questions before and after you take your new family member home.

We now accept credit card payments through Google and Paypal for any purchases on this site. Please note that we will need 4% added to your total for credit card payments to cover charges incurred for this service.
