Fall Gathering
Plans are set for our Fall Party scheduled
for September 25th 2016. All are welcome to come to our
Open House. Our goal is to provide a beautiful setting
for like minded sheltie lovers to meet, talk and
possibly learn something while having a great time. MVSSC will be supporting our Sheltie Match, we will have
a speaker on iol essences for dogs for those that are interested and
as before we will offer a health clinic with Dr
Greentree providing OFA eye checks and we will have MDR1
and VWD test and large potluck
lunch. If you would like to come and join us see below:
Event starts at 10:00am to 5:00pm or so. Times will
be flexible.
Please plan to bring your own chair and dress for the
weather. Activities like socializing, seminar and health
clinics can mostly come indoors but the match and other
event will continue outside.
Also please plan to bring a covered dish to share. We
will provide beverages and table settings for all.
Parking is available on the north entrance (by the
silos) please follow signs.
Plan to bring your dogs, puppies to socialize, show off
and participate in the match. Our place is fully fenced
and safe for your dogs, but please contain them to an
x-pen or leash while here as a courtesy to others.
Day of match entries accepted free of charge. As in the
past prizes will be provided for all first place
winners, trophy and $25 gas card for Best in Match
winner, trophy also for Runner-Up.
We will offer again a costume contest for those that
would like to participate, bring your pets best attire
for a chance to win.
For those that are interested we will have a bit of a
tour of our kennel and dogs, but please note that we
will not have time to go over any of the dogs or spend
anytime evaluating studs or dogs for sale. This event is
not about us, it is for the fancy to enjoy time with
each other.

Schedule of
Events
10:00 am arrival set up of food and
socialize. Health clinic will open. Dr Greentree will be
here for eye checks at $35 each. VWD Vetgen and MDR1
(Washington State and Gensol at reduced price).
11:00 am seminar puppy puzzle, evaluation, discussion on
type and structure.
12:00 pm potluck lunch
1:00 pm we will have a presentation about oil essences
for you and your pet, very interesting!
1:00pm entries open for match
2:00 pm agility demo, with Sara Deems followed by open
agility try outs with your own dogs.
2:30pm Match, judge: Sharon Schutte, long time breeder. Classes: 2-4 month,
4-6 month, 6-9 month 9-12 month, & Adult. Sexes will not
be divided. Prices to all class winners Best in match
$25
3:30 Costume contest for those that would like to
participate. Prices will be available to all
contestants.
